Location Otorohanga is located 180km south of Auckland and is the CLOSEST TOWN (10 minutes) to the world famous Waitomo Caves. It is 50 minutes by car to the black sand west coast beaches which offer fishing, surfing, windsurfing, swimming and natural hot pools. The Town Otorohanga is a small rural town of 3,000 people situated two hours south of Auckland and only ten minutes from the world famous Waitomo Caves. It is located on the main rail route and is served daily by Tranz Rail, Intercity, Newmans, Magic and Kiwi Experiences Buses. The Facilities The hostel is 7 minutes walk from all amenities (train & bus station, banks, shops, chemists, doctors, takeaways, souvenir shops etc.) |
